They all start out anywhere from $9.99-$20 and many already have bids! I’m really excited and ready to part with these beauties but hope they go to good homes. I wish I would’ve sold them when I was back home and had access to all my things but instead this is just a snippet of everything I own that’s doll-related. I plan to take pics of my mini DS gashapons too but won’t list them on eBay so check back here to see if you want any when I finally can motivate myself to take the pictures.

Hey everyone!

It’s been a little over a month. I finished Fall ‘07 semester with a 3.5 GPA so the stress has definitely been lifted! I just recently returned from my family’s house after spending the holidays with them for 2 weeks and brought with me a little bit of my doll collection.

In light of New Year’s resolutions, I’m tyring to pare down my doll collection, namely my Takara Jenny dolls. I’m going from about 29 dolls to just 10. I know, that’s a lot but my tastes have changed since moving onto custom dollfies and I really just want to keep the ones I can truly appreciate and that have sentimental value. I’ll also be selling one Cool Girl as well as Azone’s Belinda the Tangerine cat. Most will start off at just $10. They are all in great condition though most don’t have their original outfits (if they came with one), boxes or bodies (since I used to switch them with Obitsu ones for more pose-abilty). In a little over 3 weeks I’ll be heading home for winter break. I couldn’t be more excited. As the semester winds down, things become more and more stressful. In 2 weeks I’ll need to have a 20 page research paper done, all of which I’ve done NO writing on, just some of the actual research and a cumulative final mere hours before I head home. So school is doomed to be on my mind until the very last minute before vacation, I’m aiming for a 4.0 but am settling for a 3.8. Aside from school stress (which there seems to be A LOT of) are sick kitties abound. I am a sucker for animals and after coming across a stray kitten 3 weeks ago I took her in to place her for adoption with the organization I volunteer for. We’ll little kitty came loaded with what we dub “The T Virus” and, despite our best attempts, managed to get our kitty sick. So today was $200 in vet bills to get him better, a load of stress at the prospect of keeping infected cats nicely quarantined. Luckily, tomorrow kitty it getting prepared to be adoption ready by a visit to the vet tomorrow to get her on her way to a clean bill of health.

In the meantime I am dead-ass-stinking broke. Which I always am being a student but this time it hit really hard because I was trying my best to save and then what do you know, kitty needs medical attention. I am not complaining, I love my Moose but I’m just stressed about the unexpected turn of events.

Luckily my mini Nintendo DS shipment came in and I will be looking to part with most of them. I just wanted to take a few for my dolls and then sell the rest. I mean, I really didn’t need 16 mini DS, so in a few days after I’ve had time to pick the ones I want and take pictures, I’ll probably post them on The Lunar Ark forum for a few bucks to recoup my losses in vet bills.

I just gotta keep reminding myself things aren’t as bad as they could be and these struggles are all just a process towards something much better in my life. That all being said, until I get home I’ll be on a bit of a hiatus while I work through these issues. But I promise when I come back it’ll be a new year (it really will!) and things will be looking up!

The old Volks EBs. From time to time they appear on YJA, last they were up there I snagged a couple. I like the torso a lot and small chest look. The shininess is nice too, am I weird? Anyway, this one is on YJA now but I’m too broke to bid at the moment. Anyone know where I could get more of them? I guess it’s just a luck of the draw.

Oh god! So, I was randomly browsing the ever-addicting website, Etsy.com and I found this. Naturally I freaked because these are so cute and there was only one set left! I scrambled to get my debit card and prayed and $9 later I’m a happy camper!

SQUEE! I love Deers! Yes, I say deers and I don’t care if it’s not actually plural for deer. Okay, going to bed now-ish.

Oh well, here it is!

Nintendo DS Lite gashapon set on eBay! I’m super excited to have an mini version of my mint green DS for my dolls (once they get here, ahem).

I bought both cuz I wanted games from both - Nintendogs and Animal Crossing. The rest I can’t really discern from the picture but I’m sure there are some other good ones for them to play. Mario Kart and some cooking game, perhaps?

Also, I FINALLY got the Re-ment set I’ve wanted. I am crazy about pretty much everything in this set.

Another thing I came across the other day that I found rather cute was this Unoa. I normally don’t like larger BJDs but she looks pretty 1/6th scale and I like her face and body proportions. I don’t know a lot about Unoa so I don’t have any information on her but if I come across roughly $150 to spare I’ll definitely pick one up.

Other than that, I’m just busy with school and work. I am really not sure if my dad is sending my dolls this way but I guess can wait, I’ve got only about a month to wait till I visit home.

So my dad STILL hasn’t gotten the hint of urgency over my doll situation. I’ve emailed him and talked to him about it on the phone and he either laughs it off or promises to send them once I do this then he’ll do that. Yadda, yadda. Well I’ve done everything he’s asked me to do and still no dolls so I threw this together after work today. Maybe it’ll get the point across, or at least a laugh. I MISS MY DOLLS!

I remember when these kitchens flooded eBay at least a year ago. I thought they were ridiculously pricey at the time but now that I want one, I can’t find one!!! Anyone know where to get them or someone that’s selling a used one? I want it to customize, obviously.

Also, on a completely unrelated but EXTREMELY COOL note, Sci Fi Channel is coming out with a series this December 2007 entitled, Tin Man, a more modern and creepier update of The Wizard of Oz. The best part, Zooey Deschanel plays “DG” (Dorothy) and Alan Cummings as “Glitch” (The Scarecrow). I love them and I love this story, SUPER, SUPER EXCITED!!!
